Q: Does Britt Carter offer payment plans?
A: No. In almost every case, it would be cheaper for our customers to purchase furniture with a credit card (making payments to the credit card company) than it would be to buy furniture from us (a third-party retail finance company in reality) as part of a payment plan. We suggest rather, that clients use their credit card and pay a lower interest rate than the finance company would charge them.

A furniture order may take anywhere from 3 to 12 weeks, depending on whether or not the vendor has it in stock. If you are ordering Custom Upholstery, it may take 8 to 16 weeks for your furniture to be delivered. As your estimated delivery date approaches, be in touch with the Britt Carter Customer Service Department for more specific delivery information.
Q: Why might it take weeks to receive my Britt Carter furniture order?
A: While many other types of products can be shipped overnight or within a few days, it takes longer to ship furniture. Here are several reasons why:
- Ground Transportation - Britt Carter furniture is usually shipped from the Southeast, or in some cases, from across the ocean. Our furniture is often large and heavy.
- Customized Product - When you purchase Britt Carter furniture, you may be choosing from a large selection of fabrics and leathers. This customization requires additional time to produce and deliver the furniture.
- Production Time - If you order a piece that is not in stock at a particular vendor´s warehouse, the vendor will need time to make the furniture for you.
